Join our celebration of the Day of Bulgarian Culture and Literacy!

The volunteers from YouHelp BG are preparing entertainment for everyone, including music, interactive games for children and raffle with many surprises. All children interested in performing can participate with a song or a poem practiced at home.

The event is sponsored by the Bulgarian Newspaper “Budilnk” and is also officially supported by the Municipality of Varna and the Bulgarian Red Cross. Admission is free. The Restaurant offers a sample of traditional Bulgarian food at its regular restaurant prices. A portion of the proceeds from all lunch orders and all proceeds from the raffle and the interactive games will go to “Drugarche,” an Institute for children placed under state care in Varna. YouHelp BG is a limited liability company registered in the UK and eligible for charitable status. The charity is currently working for the benefit of children placed in state care institutes in Bulgaria. The charity started work informally and spontaneously in 2007 after the broadcasting of the film Bulgaria’s Abandoned Children on BBC. Deeply disturbed by the suffering of the children growing in state institutes, a small group of Bulgarians and non-Bulgarians living in Bulgaria, UK and Bahrain decided to join their efforts to help improve the lives of those unfortunate children.

The activities of YouHelp BG include work on the ground in Bulgaria with children from state institutes as well as fundraising via small charity events in the UK Bulgaria and via the internet.
